Do you have a person in your life that loves the stage and all things acting? Then they'll want a Saint Genesius of Rome medal to keep the faith in all matters - especially getting work in the theater or film.
Imagine the irony. Saint Genesius was an actor in the Roman era who often played roles where he mocked Christianity. Night after night, play after play he's stand up and debase the faith. What happened? A conversion happened right there on the stage for all to witness!
The Roman emperor Diocletian forced Genesius to renounce his faith and when he refused Genesius was put to death by beheading.
His memorial day is August 25th. He is the patron saint of actors, attorneys, comedians, dancers, and printers.
