St. Jerome is the patron saint of librarians and famous for translating the Bible from Greek into Latin. His image is found on the front of the holy card and a prayer on the other side.
Master of Christian life
and founder of monasteries
you had a deep love for
God’s inspired Word.
And were a most careful translator
of the Scared Scriptures.
Your perseverance in seeking
God’s glory is a perfect model for
all interpreters of the Holy Texts.
Inspire them with respect for
the Sacred Writings as well as
for Tradition and the Church’s
Magisterium. Help them to impart
to all the true meaning of the
Word of God. Amen

I think the prayer card itself is wonderful because it has the best portrait of St. Jerome and the lion. I wish it said something about the lion on the back. Also, I wish that we could purchase a smaller number of cards. But I will find people to give them to. Thank you.
